We believe that it starts and ends with customer focus. When you don’t know what to do, the default is always to do what’s best for the customer. Neglecting the customer for short term benefit is NEVER a good idea. Ask Toyota if cheaper accelerator pedals was a good idea! When your customer wins your stakeholders will ALWAYS win in the long run. We are so committed to this that we prefer some of our compensation to be tied to our clients’ results.

We are relentless in developing or identifying the best tools, processes and ideas to meaningfully change our clients marketing performance. We stay abreast of the latest developments and sort the gimmicks and the hype from real value-added solutions. We never stop searching and thinking so we can help our client uncover new marketing possibilities.
Keep it real
the Marketicians™ employ some of the nicest and smartest people you could ever wish to meet. In fact we won’t employ people who aren’t nice AND smart! We also value objectivity which means that, although we are very nice, we have one very bad habit; we say what we believe, even if it might be unpopular. Objectivity and honesty are not new concepts. Why then do so many businesses find it difficult to give customers what they want? Perhaps nobody said “that is unacceptable” or “our customers deserve better” or "the market research results suggest this won’t work”. Perhaps our experience and focus on our industry and company clouds our objectivity?

Business author Jim Collins built a very compelling argument around the premise that “Good” is the enemy of “Great”. We live by that mantra every day. To improve then we have to change. Your business may be doing pretty well already, but why stop there? the Marketicians™ are about helping our clients change the way they do things and change what they do for the benefit of their customers and for the growth and health of their business. If you fight change kicking and screaming then there are other consultants. If you want to be the best and want an objective expert perspective on how to get there then this is the right place. Do the right thing
Some things are just intuitively right and good and it doesn’t matter if they make business sense or not you just do them because “it’s the right thing to do”.
the Marketicians™ happen to believe that even if it doesn’t seem to make business sense in the short term doing the right thing will ALWAYS make sense in the long run. There is absolutely no justification for unethical or dishonest behavior, NONE! Businesses are built on trust and relationships and in our own opinion there is no better way to win trust than to earn it and deliver on it day in and day out by simply doing the right thing! Isn’t it nice when the right thing and the best thing are the same?
Contribute to the community
the Marketicians™ are privileged to be part of a thriving community in Louisville, Kentucky. What could be better than living in “Possibility City” (Louisville) in the state of “Unbridled Spirit” (Kentucky)? We are also part of a vibrant regional community with neighboring states Indiana, Ohio and Tennessee! By focusing on local and regional businesses we want to play an active part in ensuring that our community and region continues to thrive.
We make a direct contribution, by improving the marketing performance of every regional business we touch. We are also proud members of our dynamic chamber of commerce Greater Louisville Inc.
However we feel it is important we give back to our community in other ways. theMarketicians™ retain one pro bono client at all times and we donate 1% of our revenue to Autism-related charities in Louisville. Our employees are required to participate on the board or volunteer time to at least one not-for-profit organization.
We are proud of our community and our region and are committed to advocating for and contributing to the development of marketing and innovation in our community wherever it can play a positive role.
